GOODBYE, January!

Bye Bye January...It actually does look a little nippy...which it is...but not really. Even though it is 'winter' it still gets to a perfect 60-70 degrees during the day. Perfect Perfect Perfect...for my beautiful run/walk through my neighborhood and the golf course.

The little boys got new hair-dos...they are quite naked now and we can tell they are a bit chilly...they have been cuddling up with us more than usual. Jack and Geordie are too precious. Don't they look gorgeous?

I am officially obsessed with interior design. I just posted some of my arty bedroom walls on apartmenttherapy.com Hopefully my photos will be chosen to be shown on the website. That would be fantastic. Then all kinds of design snobs and freaks can drool over my great taste and talent. haha. anyhow, Take a look...







Do you like my new HIS AND HERS paintings? They replaced the little gnome paintings I had on the gold paper before. Also Marie Antoinette still looks fabulous above my bed..."LET THEM EAT CAKE!" The Russian nesting dolls aren't mine...I have to return them to the library unfortunately....they are so beautiful. My momma took them home, they were just sitting in the back office all closed up. I am running out of wall space...and I am coming up with more and more ideas for rooms and artwork. I just don't have anywhere to put it or create it. So I shall save it for later...in my crisp new untouched sketchbook.

I bought a new big blank black sketchbook for 2007...yay a new year. I have started a little late but I reckon I can catch up. I must go and make my book ultrasuperfantastic. ciao ciao.

the job, the apartment, us, the hotness

I love my job more and more everyday! Last week I got payed to take the kids to the beach!

My apartment becomes more and more sweet everyday. I just painted one of my bedroom walls pink.

YOU'RE PRETTY...

I am so tired. It has seriously been a long day...plus I did a lot of driving today as well. Driving enables me to be forced to listen to entire albums which is lovely. Today during my travels I listened to Gwen Stefani's new cd The Sweet Escape and Benoit Pioulard's Precis.

I tried selling some early Valentine Cards at Tan 'n' Talk. They are too cute. I am so proud of them. Take a look-ie look-ie...or...anyone have a Valentine?


I experienced tanning today for the first time in the CYCLONE. Pretty scary and strange experience. You have to stand still, naked, blind with those tiny goggles, with air blowing like crazy, with hot lamps beaming on you for a hell of a long short time. I was in there for 4 minutes. Madness. It was free though and now I have a nice glow. Pretty.

Speaking of PRETTY. Let me share some findings...

this magazine is so beautiful and natural and girlie and sweet. The photographs are so soothing.

I'll tell you in another life when we are both cats.

I saw Vanilla Sky today...such a strange, dreamy, wonderful movie. It created a bit of a daze around my day.

I also created a series of three original ink drawings named BLANK THOUGHTS....I played around with possible quotes to place in the word bubbles but my mind drew a blank.....therefore I left the drawings blank. I think this is a very simple, and very quiet idea. I like it. Here take a look...

Yesterday I went to the library and checked out a huge stack of interior design books. I love looking at how other people design the interiors of their homes. I love minimalistic looks. All of the lines are so gorgeous. I brought them home to inspire my drawings rather than to help with changing my room. There is a real strange calmness created when looking at pictures of empty beautifully lit rooms. I heart it!!!
